Insurance Services Office(ISO)  Public Classification Program (PPC) is important in the underwriting process at insurance companies when calculating fire insurance premiums. This program rates fire risk and how well a community is prepared to combat fires based from 1 to 10, with 10 being the poorest. EPFD, CCWD, BLS Water, and CAL FIRE worked hard to improve the staffing, equipment, water supplies, hydrant distribution, and improved communication systems to earn our community an ISO 2 rating.
